Plugged 110V massager to 230V outlet?
Plugged in a 110V 60Hz massage chair to a 230V 50hz outlet. The fuse in the massage chair broke. Is there a chance for the massage chair to still be safe without damages. is it safe to replace the fuse and switch it on using a voltage regulator. This is a latest model massage chair. Your responses are appreciated.

- You may be lucky, yes. Make sure that the voltage regulator changes the frequncy (Hz) though - the massage chair's motors may be sensitive to the frequency, and overheat if it's the wrong one.
- There is a good chance your chair is OK, but it would be a good idea to get someone who is qualified to check it for you.
- Boom! Have a qualified technician to check it. Don't attempt to plug it again.
- Not having much luck with this chair, are you? If you replace the fuse, make sure it is an exact voltage & amperage value replacement for the burnt one!
