Massage Model

Besides Wat Pho,I am looking for a good Thai massage/spa in Bangkok. Can someone please help me? :)?

I wish to find a reasonably priced place in Bangkok which is <100Baht. It's for me and my girlfriends. We want a good pampering session after a long shopping spree. ;) Thank you, The Mouse! After re-reading my own question, i can't help but laughed at myself! *LOL* Oops, sorry but i meant <1000Baht !;)

  1. Hey do you know Saim Shopping centre? Just opposite or the other side of the train station . There are a lot of massage centre u can choose . VERY CHEAP! They even come with all the pedicure & manicure package as well :D
  2. http://www.bodytune.co.th/branch_silom.html You can try Body Tune, a chain spa centre with 3 branches in Bangkok. It costs 390 baht for 1 hour traditional thai massage. It's much more expensive that Wat Pho but it offers a much cosier, quieter and privater space for you. It is good value when comparing to the spa at hotels that would cost over US$100 It also offers a guarantee of cleanliness and quality... (Last time, I and hubby went to a cheap one for massage. We stayed in different rooms. My hubby told me that the thai lady tried to aroused him sexually quite a few times...) Recommend you to call Body tune to do reservation first. Enjoy
  3. "a reasonably priced place in Bangkok which is <100Baht. "? HAHAHAHA, sorry but I have to laugh. There are PLENTY of places in Bangkok that will do great massages. But to ask for less than 100 baht is pushing it, I think. Enjoy Bangkok. It's great. (going there in November)
  4. Sorry honey, but your not going to find a a good Thai masage/spa for less then 100 baht. In the tourist areas of Bangkok expect to pay no less then 250 up to 500 baht. Where I live I have this wonderful lady who does mine for 150 an hour.
  5. Good traditional Thai massage (not spa-style for tourists) can be had at Yuthasart 2 located in Washington Square (named after the Washington cinema, which once was where the Samba cabaret now is) off Sukhumvit Soi 22. Two hours of massage will cost you 250 baht. It is quite popular among Thais. Japanese expats and farangs in the know also go there.
  6. After long flight from your country to get to Bangkok, or after long walk for shoping.. I don't think you need just a place to sit and get massage.. I would say you need a good spa one that you could rejoice, relax, reflect and revitalise yourself. So you need a good atmosphere to make more relax that should be include of nice decoration and environment, good smell from essential oil, sound of soft music and the touch from theapist to make you feel comfortalbe and relax and of course should be a good tea after treatment. May I suggest you spa tips? Spa Tips : • Make spa appointments in advance to ensure availability of treatments and therapist preferences, so booking your spa visit early will help you get the treatment and time you desire. • Arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to your appointment to allow time to check in and change. Late arrivals normally do not receive an extension of time. • You might have to fill out paperwork, you will need to change into a robe and slippers, and you can use the extra time to relax with a complimentary cup of soothing tea. • Don’t be shy about requesting a therapist when scheduling your appointment it is acceptable to state if you prefer a male or female therapist. Rest assured that all therapists are trained professionals. • It’s okay not to talk during the treatment if you don’t want to ; the therapist will take their cue from you. • Wear what makes you feel comfortable ; although the majority of people completely undress for a treatment, it isn’t necessary. Spas will not compromise your modesty. • Tipping is at your discretion, but 10-20- percent is typical for good service. • Speak up and let the therapist know if the pressure is not adequate or too firm. Express your likes and dislikes and feel free to ask question • Remember, the right way to spa is your way ; experiencing a spa treatment is very personal so approach the experience in a way that makes you most comfortable. • Try something new by listening to the recommendations of spa employees or other guests. There is so much to try in the world of treatments – don’t be afraid to explore these options. • Jewelry should not be worn during your massage. It is best to leave valuables at home or in your room safe deposit box. • Cell phones and pagers don’t belong in the spa ; ensure the integrity of the spa experience by leaving these devices behind. • Advise of spa of any medical conditions or pregnancy so they can advise proper treatments. • After a massage or body treatment, you might be told that you should relax as long as possible and not get up too fast in case you get dizzy. It’s okay to sit there for a few minutes, but taking any more time is not cool and could keep other clients waiting. • After your treatment and you don’t need to shower because your treatment allow all of its effects to absorb into your skin. • Just relax and put yourself into hands of the trained professionals to enjoy the experience. What a pity that spaasiaonline website is underconstruction, otherwise would be a good choice for you. Anyway here is a good spa one and of course it's cheap. http://www.pimmalai.com/menu.html If you need any help and do not sure if spa is far from your place just contact me. I could suggest somewhere else.
