I'm 11 weeks pregnant. Could I have squished my baby by getting a really strong Thai massage lat night?
The masseuse hadn't understood when I told her the first time I was pregnant- when she pressed hard on my lower back I resisted as much as I could then she realized that I was pregnant and stopped. Is it possible that she squished or damaged my baby? I read afterwards that it is recommended to only use prenatal masseuses while pregnant.

- It is dangerous to have a massage, especially if they do not understand you are pregnant. I don't think that she "Squished" your baby but double check everything next time visit your doctor.
- No, you did not squish your baby. Although you do have to be careful when getting massages further along in your pregnancy by telling the masseuse that you are pregnant so that they can make you more comfortable, no amount of pushing during a massage will "squish" your baby. Talk to your doctor about what he/she wants you to do, but rest assured, you are fine. :) Our motherly bodies are meant to withstand a lot and protect our babies!
