What's the type of tea served at thai massage places in thailand?

Does anybody know the name of the tea that's typically served at massage places in thailand (bangkok)? I've had 4 massages there (at different places), and 3 out of the 4 times they served me this tea. oh, and the english and thai name would be great! thanks!

  1. They all use different brands, most will serve you a hot ginger tea. in English you will say 'Ginger Tea' The Thai word for Ginger is king, I would imagine in Thai it would be 'Cha King'
  2. It's call herbal tea that usually use bael tea which is normal word and thai people call in thai " Ma Toom Tea "
  3. Chrysanthamum Tea in English. It's a relaxing herbal tea. In Thai it is called geg-huay
  4. Most probably it is Green Tea or Japanese Tea ( the same ) or their local tea In thai Green Tea = Cha Jepun Local Tea = Cha Thai
  5. There is a Thai Tea blend that is amazing. Teavana has it. It has black tea and rooibos tea together, and it is flavored with coconut, almonds, and vanilla. It's yummy hot or iced, especially if you add a little milk to it.
